Sayri Túpac

Sayri Túpac (* 1535, † 1561), according to Peruvian Quechua case Sayri Tupaq, was the sixteenth Inca king, namely the second of Vilcabamba, the last refuge of the Incas. He succeeded his father Manco Inca Yupanqui to the throne, who led an uprising against the Spaniards and was murdered in 1544 or 1545. While Sayri Tupac's reign there was a peace with the Spaniards, which, however, had more to do with his advisors, because he was just ten years old when he ascended the throne.
