Sazae-san

Sazae -san (Japaneseサザエ さん) is a Yonkoma Manga Japanese illustrator Hasegawa Machiko. It was first published from 1946 to 1974. The manga has been implemented as an anime, Real TV series and in the form of several films. The series has been running since 1969 with over 2200 episodes, making it the anime series with the longest duration.

Content

The comic strips revolve around the 27- year-old Japanese sazae Isono (磯野 サザエ). She lives with her father Namihei Isono (矶 野 波 平), her mother Fune Isono (磯野 フネ) and her siblings Katsuo Isono (磯野 カツオ) and Wakame Isono (磯野 ワカメ) in a household in postwar Japan.
