SC Salgueiros

SC Salgueiros, officially "Sport Comércio e Salgueiros ", is a football club. It was founded on December 8, 1911, is in Paranhos (Porto ), Portugal is home. The home stadium called the Estádio Eng º Vidal Pinheiro. The club colors are red and white. After Salgueiros still played in the 2001/ 02 season in the Super League, the club was since in the steady sporting and economic decline that ended with the dissolution of the first team in the 2004/2005 season. So the stadium was sold to the city of Porto in the grounds a subway station should be built. 2008, the game mode in football under the name Sport Clube Salgueiros 08 was resumed.

In addition to football, the association operates the departments of water polo, handball, chess and athletics.
