Scanner Cop is a 1994 spin-off arisen of the horror film scanner - Your thoughts can kill and the directorial debut of Pierre David. The film was produced directly for the video market. 1995 was the continuation Scanner Cop II

Action

Samuel Staziak has inherited the skills of a scanner by his late father and adopted by a young policeman. Once people start out of the blue to attack police officers, who now own this profession performers Samuel uses his ways and gets on the trail of a neurosurgeon who can reprogram the brains of people. Samuel falls into the clutches of the madman, but can use his powers to overcome it in the end.

Criticism

" Despite the significant bonds (cf. in Cronenberg's Scanners ) a bottom line quite exciting story, but should not be flavor because of their occasional coarse effects for everyone. "
