Sceloporus occidentalis becki is a subspecies of Sceloporus occidentalis, a common lizard in California. It is endemic to the islands of the Channel Islands National Park off the coast of California. It was classified taxonomically in 1905 by John Van Denburgh. The name component becki refers to the American ornithologist Rollo Howard Beck, who collected the first specimens of the subspecies. The animal can be up to 22 inches long, the tail accounts for the approximately 1.5 times the length of the rest of the body.
