Scent hound

Hound, is the name for a hunting dog who pursues wild over long distances. Hounds have a good sense of smell and can follow a trail. They have been used for instance in hunts and drag hunts, which is why the term tour de force dog was also used interchangeably. Hounds are usually used as a pack: a group of dogs that hunt together.
