The sharp stone castle is the ruin of a spur castle near the town of Kiedrich in the Rheingau -Taunus-Kreis in Hesse. It is located on the road from Kiedrich to Hausen vor der Höhe on a 230 m above sea level. NN high mountain spur.

History

In 1160, the castle was built as a country castle under Archbishop Christian I of the book and from 1191 by Burgmannen busy, then "by Scharfstein " call themselves.
