Schauspielhaus (Wien)

The Vienna Schauspielhaus is a smaller theater in the Porzellangasse 19 in the 9th district of Vienna Alsergrund. The theater is to record both as a proscenium stage, with old pillared spectator balcony, as well as in different variants as Space Theatre and summarizes which included seats on the balcony, a maximum of 220 spectators. History

The history of the building dates back to the beginning of the 20th century, when in the basement of Porzellangasse 19 was a vaudeville operation, which was then adapted into one of the first cinemas in Vienna and from 1913 to 1975 ( during the Third Reich arisiert ) the names home cinema or Citta 2000 and contributed in the last year of its existence 597 seats offered.
