Scheffelsberg

Scheffelberg ( Czech Korec ) is a wooded mountain south of Jugel in western Saxon Erzgebirge, which is 980 m high. Directly above its summit is the boundary between Saxony and the Czech Republic.

In winter, a ski run is at Scheffelberg of Henneberg in towards the border. On a clear day offers from the book box mountain through the trees a broad view of the Saxon- Bohemian Obererzgebirge.
