Schieren, Germany
Sheer is a municipality in the district of Segeberg in Schleswig-Holstein.
Geography and transport
Sheer lies about 6 km east of Bad Segeberg rural location on the Wardersee. To the south runs the federal highway 206 from Bad Segeberg to Lübeck, north of State Road 432 from Bad Segeberg to Scharbeutz. The place is laid out as Rundling.
History
Archaeological finds evidence of a settlement since the Neolithic
Sheer was first mentioned in 1342 as " Shire " and lay on the border between the Saxons and Slavs. 1871 was a peace oak was planted in the middle of the village.
Policy
Of the nine seats in the municipal council has the Wählergemeinschaft AS since the municipal election 2008, five seats and the voter community KWG four.
