Schiller International University

The Schiller International University is a private American university with four campuses in four countries. These are located in Paris ( France), Madrid ( Spain), Heidelberg ( Germany ) and Largo (USA).

Founded in 1964 by Dr. Walter womb law as an exchange program for Americans in Germany, the University is today students from over 100 countries. Following the German tradition to name a school after a historical figure, the University was named in honor of Friedrich Schiller, the German poet and philosopher named. The first campus was located in Schiller Klein Ingersheim, located on the other side of the Neckar Marbach birthplace of Schiller. The German campus located in Heidelberg since 1969. By 2012 he was in the Villa Krehl on the mountain road, one constructed from Heidelberg medical Ludolf Krehl villa of the early 20th century, beheimatet.Im June 2012, we moved into the Skylab building at the Heidelberg railway town.

Similar to other international operating American universities, students can switch between sites in different countries, without losing study time or credits. SIU is accredited in the U.S. by ACICS, a recognized by the U.S. Department of Education Akkrediterungsagentur for private universities.

The SIU provides the following academic degrees:

  • Associate: International Business, General Studies, Medical Assistant, Paralegal Studies, Criminal Justice, Pharmacy Technician and International Hospitality & Tourism.
  • Bachelor: International Business, International Relations and Diplomacy, International Economics, International Hospitality & Tourism and Interdisciplinary Studies.
  • Master: Business Administration, International Business, International Hospitality & Tourism, Management of Information Technology, Financial Planning (online only), International Management, International Relations and Diplomacy.
