Schladen (Samtgemeinde)

The Samtgemeinde Schladen was in administrative matters of the municipalities Gielde, Schladen and Werlaburgdorf and the City of Hornburg in the district Wolfenbüttel in Lower Saxony ( Germany ).

The area of the velvet municipality Schladen in which 9,225 people lived, consisted of 73.89 km ².

On November 1, 2013, the velvet municipality was converted into the unified community Schladen - Werla.

Geographical Location

The Samtgemeinde Schladen was especially south of the Oder Forest with its districts in the northern Harz mountains. The Oker was in the field of integrated municipality.
