Schleifreisen lies to the northwest at the triangle of the Federal Highway 9 and north of the Federal Highway 4 west of Hermsdorf. The district of the village is bounded to the west by a large forest area..

History

On August 13, 1351 Schleifreisen was first mentioned in records. The farmers of the agricultural and forestry embossed place went the way of the East German agriculture.
