Schluderns
Schluderns (Italian Sluderno ) is a municipality with 1818 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the Vinschgau in South Tyrol (Italy).
At the transition from the upper to middle Vinschgau Schluderns has the Coira Castle (13th century) the best preserved fortification in the country. The remodeled in the 16th century in the Renaissance style environment with its courtyard and the valuable armor is since 1504 owned by the Counts von Trapp. We should also mention the Catholic church, which was dedicated to Saint Catherine.
