The Schmalenbach rises eastward from the same yard below the town on the road to Halver Radevormwald. The creek is only 1.7 kilometers long and flows Beisen in the Löhbach and with him in the Ennepe. He was named for Schmalenbach ( Halver ), the farm and its inhabitants.
