Schnaudertal

Schnaudertal is a municipality in Burgenland district, in Saxony -Anhalt. It belongs to the municipality of Droyßiger - Zeitz forest.

The community Schnaudertal was formed on 1 January 2010 from the voluntary association of municipalities and Bröckau Wittgendorf. The name derives from the River Great Schnauder. The merger takes place against the background of municipal reform in Saxony- Anhalt and the accompanying law laid down in the minimum number of 1000 inhabitants in municipalities that belong to a community association.

Coat of arms

The coat of arms was designed by Jörg Kommunalheraldiker Mantzsch and approved on 1 October 2010 by the county.

Blazon: " Argent, two diagonally left shaft rods, accompanied up of a red millstone, down from two crossed red hammers the focus occupied by a red chisel. "

The symbols refer to the Large and Small Schnauder, to the once numerous existing mills and quarries.

The colors of the community are Red - White.

Flag

The flag is red - white ( 1:1) striped ( longitudinal shape: strip running vertically, cross- shape: strips running horizontally ) and centrally occupied with the coat of arms of the municipality.
