Geography
Geographical Location
Quick village is situated in the territory of the Franks height about 2 km south- southeast of Birch Mountain, a little more than 4 km (air line ) west of the motorway junction Feuchtwangen / Crailsheim and is a headwaters section of the Ampfrach flows through ( a western Wörnitz inflow ).

History
On 22 December 1971, the former municipality Oberampfrach was renamed Quick village.
Incorporations
On January 1, 1972, the formerly independent communities Haundorf and Unterampfrach were incorporated at the local government reform. 1 July 1972, followed Gailroth and wild wood, until then independent municipalities in Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Thus, the new retail center Quick village was established.

The Coat of Arms description is: divided by a wavy red bars; a herschauender, border red gezungter black leopard with downcast tail, down from silver and blue five times split up in silver.

Economy and infrastructure
Quick village is a member of Tourism Romantic Franconia. An inn building which originally stood in Schnelldorfer Oberampfrach district, was demolished and rebuilt in the Franconian Open Air Museum of Bad Windsheim.
