Schnellin is a district of the town Bad Schmiedeberg in Wittenberg district in Saxony- Anhalt.

Geography

Schnellin is located about 17 kilometers south-east of Lutherstadt Wittenberg on the edge of the Natural Park Duebener Heath.

History

1388, the village was first mentioned in documents as Slenyn. Since July 1, 2009 Schnellin belongs to Bad Schmiedeberg. The last mayor was Frank Heer forest.
