Schobse

BW

The Schobse is a creek in Ilm-Kreis in Thuringia. It is about 10 km long. The Schobsequelle located on the Great Dreiherrenstein Mrs. forest in the Thuringian Forest. It flows in a northeasterly direction further to the Mitre, where it flows into the Wohl Rose.

In Schobsetal above Mitre, a mine is to reduce fluorspar. It was decommissioned in 1991, but reopened in 2005 as the world market price for Spat increased substantially during this period and a new reduction appeared worthwhile again. The landscape of the Schobsetals was partially destroyed by the resultant of the mine dump.

Between the Schobsemühle and the city Mitre which is under construction high-speed line Nuremberg -Erfurt crosses the creek on the 87 -meter-long Schobsetalbrücke.
