Schomberger is an impact crater in the extreme south of the lunar front side, south of the crater Manzinus and southwest of Boguslawsky. The rim is moderately eroded, the interior has concentric structures and a central mountain on.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the German Jesuit and mathematician Georg Schönberger.
