Geography

The stream kicks in about 1.1 kilometers east of Hirschberg at an altitude of 411 m above sea level. NN. It first flows in a westerly direction, then turns its course gradually to the southwest. After 0.9 km river stretch of the creek flowing along with the Bermecke, thereby forming the brook.

With a height difference of 49 m, the average bed slope is 54 ‰. The approximately 42.6 -acre catchment area is drained by Bache / Lottmannshardbach, Heve, Möhne, Ruhr and Rhine to the North Sea.
