The Protect Mine 42 was an anti -personnel mine the Wehrmacht in World War II.

History

The Protect Mine 42 was introduced in 1942 as an anti -personnel mine in the Wehrmacht and related to the end of the Second World War. My case was made of plywood. As in the mine were still metal parts, they could be tracked with conventional methods.

Operation

The mine that has been placed face, triggered by pressure on the pressure plate over the entire lid. To trigger the mine a load of 2,75 up to 5 kg was needed.
