Schubert (lunar crater)

51.23

Schubert is an impact crater on the eastern limb of the Moon front of the moon equator, west of Mare Smythii. The heavily eroded crater lies between Nobili in the West, from which it is partially obscured, and Jenkins in the east, which he in turn superimposed partially.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the Russian cartographer Theodor Friedrich von Schubert.
