Schwaderloh

Schwaderloh is a hamlet of the former municipality in the canton of Thurgau Neuwilen, Switzerland, which belongs to the municipality Kemmental since 1996. The town is located 546 m above sea level. M. near the towns of Konstanz and Kreuzlingen.

At the bridge the road to Taegerwilen on the highway is a boulder garden with about 30 boulders that have been transported from the glacier to the lake ridge at the last ice age from afar ( partly from Graubünden) and were uncovered during the construction of the highway.

To the north, between the towns of Triboltingen and Taegerwilen, 1499, the Battle of the Schwaderloh of Swabia war was fought, in which the Swiss Confederates achieved a decisive victory (in spite of numerical inferiority ) of the imperial party (Schwaben ).
