Schwarzach (Schussen)

The Schwarzach is a left tributary of the Schussen and about 22 kilometers long. It rises east of Bodnegg at Baltersberg. First, her path leads to the southeast by the Duke pond and the Mahlweiher, both located in a conservation area. In Ebersberg makes a bend to the west to Vorderreute. From there it is straightened and until shortly before sub- aerial Moss passed through farmland to the north. Then it flows in its old river bed with a rich riparian vegetation through fields and mixed forests in northwestern direction. In Good ford south of Ravensburg it finally flows into the Schussen. In Upper Sulgen it connects also with the Corner Brook and shortly before the confluence with the arising with Liebenau moss creek.

Often the Schwarzach is also known as the river of, as they formed the boundary between the upper offices Tettnang and Ravensburg.
