Schwarzau in Schwarzautal is a municipality with 634 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013 ) in the south- east of Styria in the district of Southeastern Styria.

Geography
Schwarzau in Schwarzautal is located approximately 27 km south- east of Graz, about 20 km west of the district capital field creek in East Styrian Hill Country at the Schwarzau.

Coat of arms
The award of the municipality coat of arms came into effect on 1 June 2008. Coat Description: In black split to gold plate right above the other three silver, red bordierte round mirror, left a red horse's rump.

As the largest commercial enterprise, the company has Neuroth ( optics, acoustics ) in Schwarzau their headquarters, where Neuroth hearing aids are made . Furthermore, there is a greater chicken ground and laying battery cages.
