Black wood is a town in the Hohenberg- Kruse marrow, which is situated in the municipality Arneburg - Goldbeck in the district of Stendal, Saxony -Anhalt ( Germany ).

History
Black wood and Polkritz are first mentioned in 1157 as Swartenholte and Pulcriz in a document issued for the monastery Ilsenburg certificate of Margrave Albrecht of Brandenburg. On 1 September 2010, the city was incorporated into Hohenberg- Mark Kruse.
