Schwienau
Schwienau is a municipality without eponymous main town in the middle of the Lüneburg Heath in the district of Uelzen, Lower Saxony. The municipality belongs to the Schwienau Samtgemeinde Bevensen - Ebstorf. Name factor was the Schwienau that flows through the community.

Geography
Community structure
The municipality consists of the villages Schwienau Linden, Melzingen, Stadorf and Witten Water and the living quarters Immenhof and Verhorn.
History
Incorporations
On 1 July 1972, the municipalities Linden, Melzingen, Stadorf Water and Witten were incorporated.

Coat of arms
The difficulties Auer coat of arms represents the four villages Linden, Melzingen, Stadorf and Witten Water. The linden leaves in the upper area represents the location of Linden, the stone in the lower part represents the sacrificial stone of Melzingen represents the two areas are divided by the river Schwienau in which there are two freshwater pearls, which are the villages Stadorf and Witten Water. Pearl River actually came once in the Schwienau.
