Schwoben
Schwoben is a commune of 254 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011 ) in the department of Haut-Rhin region of Alsace. It belongs to Canton Altkirch and community association Vallée de dog Bach.
Geography
The municipality is situated on the Schwoben the Sundgau valley creek, a right tributary of the Ill river north of the village center runs the Department of Road 419 Altkirch to Basel.
Neighboring communities of Schwoben are tags village in the north- west and north, Hausgauen in the east, the south and Bettendorf Hirsingue in the southwest.

Schwoben had long been the smallest town hall ( Mairie ) in France. It references a marker at the coming of the 18th century bridge over the creek valley, is a new town hall on the day. The Town Hall is facing a stone book with the names of all the mayor of Schwoben from 1792 to today.
In the village center you will find the remains of a bunker from World War II.
