Sciascinoso

Sciascinoso is an indigenous red grape variety of the Italian region of Campania. It is usually blended with wines from the varieties Piedirosso or Aglianico. Unmixed gives the late-maturing and high-yielding variety dark-colored red wines, which are intended for quick consumption. The bestockte area is approximately 440 hectares (1999 ).
