Science Fiction World

Science Fiction World (科幻 世界Ke -Huan Shijie ) is a monthly science fiction magazine, which is published in the People's Republic of China. Established in Chengdu in 1979, it dominates with a circulation of 300,000 since the 1990s (at times there were even 500,000 ) copies of the Chinese SF- market magazines. This figure also makes it the world's largest-circulation SF Magazine. Since, according to estimates, each selling magazine is read by about three to five people, the actual number of readers is probably more than one million. The main target group of the magazine is made up of high school students and college students.

In 1991, Science Fiction World organized a meeting of the World Science Fiction Society in Chengdu.
