Science policy

Science policy is a subtask of general policy and finds - in relation to Germany and Austria - both at the federal level and at the country level instead. A similar concept is that of research policy.

Definitions and tasks

Research policy is divided into science policy, which mainly takes care of the training of young scientists and basic research and technology policy, the more the environment for technological progress in the economy ( applied research ) in focus. The terms and task perceptions are not clearly distinguishable. Overlaps for networking and achieving synergies are intended.
