Scillato

Scillato is a city in the province of Palermo in the Italian region Sicily, with 618 inhabitants (as at 31 December 2012).

Location and data

Scillato is located 72 km southeast of Palermo. The inhabitants mainly work in agriculture.

The neighboring municipalities are Caltavuturo, Cerda, Collesano, Isnello, Polizzi Generosa and Sclafani Bagni.

History

The congregation broke up in 1921 by Collesano and became independent.
