Scintillation
Scintillation (from the Latin scintillare: " twinkle, flicker " ) may refer to:
- The caused by the Earth's atmosphere, apparent changes in brightness of a star, see Scintillation (astronomy );
- The flash of light that occurs when atoms or molecules pass into an excited by radioactive or other radiation material to a lower state, see scintillation ( radiation physics ).
