Scoat Fell

The Scoat Fell is a mountain in the Lake District, Cumbria, England. The Ordnance Survey divides the summit of Scoat fur coat Scoat in Great and Little Scoat fur. Little Scoat fur is higher but smaller of the two summit plateau with 841 m. The Great Scoat Fell summit plateau is 802 m high.

The Scoat fur lies at the junction of two mountain ridges. From the south meets a comb. From Red Pike and Yewbarrow on the Scoat fur To the east of the ridge continues to Pillar and west to the Haycock. The Scoat fur falls off to the south on the steeple to the Ennerdale valley.

Opportunities for advancement on the Scoat fur arise starting from the Deep Gill over the two ridges, but also directly from Wast Water along the Nether Beck and Ennerdale.

The Scoat Tarn is located on the southern flank of the Scoat fur beneath the Red Pike.
