SCORE International

The SCORE International Off- Road Racing Series is a desert racing series in the U.S. and Mexico.

General

The SCORE organization (Southern California Off Road Experience) is an organizer of off-road competitions in America and was founded in 1973 by the American off-road and drag racing pilots Mickey Thompson.

Since 1975, SCORE Baja host of the 1000, one of the major off-road race in the world. For the racing series include the Laughlin Desert Challenge (Nevada ), the San Felipe 250 ( Baja California, Mexico), the Baja 500 and the Las Vegas Primm 300 Since 2009 See the Lausitz region, the Baja 300 Powerdays Germany instead. Initiator of the Baja 300 and most famous German pilot in the SCORE International Off- Road Racing Series is Armin Schwarz at All German Motorsports (AGM ).

1992 joined the SCORE along with the High Desert Racing Association ( HDRA ) and thus forms the world's largest off-road racing association.

The vehicle classes

At the SCORE races take cars in 15 different car classes in part, from the near- VW buggy with around 80 horsepower to 850 horsepower Trophy Truck and motorcycles. With starter fields of a few hundred cars per race the SCORE racing series is one of the biggest racing events in America.
