Scott Amendola

Scott Amendola ( born February 6, 1969 in Oakland ) is an American jazz drummer and bandleader.

Scott Amendola lives and works in the San Francisco Bay Area. He played with Phillip Greenlief (1995), Charlie Hunter ( Return of the Candyman, 1998) and Paul Plimley (Safe Crackers, 1999) and led his own formation, who played Scott Amendola band in which, inter alia, Nels Cline and Jenny Scheinman. His albums appeared on Cryptogramophone Records. He also worked with Alan Pasqua and Ben Goldberg, 2002/ 03 he played with John Zorn ( Voice in the Wilderness), 2002, he played in a trio of Nels Cline ( Instrumentals). He also belonged to a quartet of Jessica Lurie ( Licorice & Smoke, 2006).
