Scott Caan

Scott Caan ( born August 23, 1976 in Los Angeles, California) is an American actor.

Life

Scott Caan is the son of actor James Caan and Sheila Ryan, a former model and actress. His paternal grandparents were Jewish emigrants from Germany. His parents divorced a year after his birth. He has four half-siblings from another marriage and his father's previous relationships.

Caan worked as a roadie for bands like Cypress Hill and House of Pain and was a member of the hip hop band The Whooliganz together with Mudfoot (real name: Alan Maman - now known as the producer The Alchemist ).

Career

Caan began acting in the late 1990s, in which he starred mainly in independent and low-budget films. Making his first appearance in a film he had known in 1999 Varsity Blues, in which he played a Texas football player. After that he appeared in a number of films, such as in Ready to Rumble and American Outlaws, in which he played with Colin Farrell.

2003 Caan was the comedy film Dallas 362 his directorial debut. He also wrote the script and played the lead role.
