Scott Hahn

Scott Hahn ( born October 28, 1957) was a Presbyterian pastor until 1986 and since 1990 the Roman Catholic professor of theology and biblical scholars.

Life

Scott Hahn graduated with a Bachelor of Arts with a triple -major in Theology, Philosophy and Economics from Grove City College, Pennsylvania, in 1979, as master, Gordon - Conwell Theological Seminary in 1982. 1986 he converted to the Roman Catholic Church and has held the chair of theology and Scripture at the Franciscan University of Steubenville in Ohio since 1990. His Ph.D. in Biblical Studies, he received from Marquette University in 1995.

He has been married since 1979 and with his wife Kimberly, who converted in 1990 to the Roman Catholic faith, six children. The story of his faith, he described in his book, Our Way to Rome.

He and his wife are members of the Equestrian Order of the Holy grave in Jerusalem.

Work

Scott Hahn is the founder and current president of the St. Paul Center for Biblical Theology, a Christian research center and think tank for Biblical Studies. Hahn works as a lecturer in many places, regularly appears on Channel Eternal Word Television Network ( EWTN ). In 2005, he got a teaching position at St. Vincent Seminary in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. He is the author of several books religious themes. Together with Curtis Mitch, he is editor of the Ignatius Catholic Study Bible ( Ignatius Press).
