Scott Loach

Scott Loach (born 27 May 1988 in Nottingham ) is an English football goalkeeper who currently plays for Ipswich Town in the English Football League Championship. 2009 Loach was with the English U- 21 team vice European champion.

Career

Association

Loach has signed a professional contract in 2006 at Watford FC, which is not far from his birthplace, Nottingham. In order to gain match practice he was awarded in the 2007/ 08 season a total of three times. First, at the Stafford Rangers in the Conference National, then in early January for a short time at the Morecambe FC and finally by the end of January until the end of the season at Bradford City. After his return to the 2008/09 season he was able to establish itself as the main goalkeeper at Watford and played a key role in ensuring that Watford came on the fifth place in the Football League Championship. After six years he left the club in summer 2012 and moved to second division rivals Ipswich Town.

National

After a few missions in the U- 21 team, he was allowed to drive with England in 2009 as a reserve goalkeeper for the U-21 European Championship. There he came in each case against Germany, including at 0:4 in the final, to a total of two inserts.
