Scott McGehee

Scott McGehee ( born April 20, 1962 in Orange County, California) is an American screenwriter and film director whose films all together with his friend David Siegel.

Work

The filmmakers created in 1989 and 1990, the short films Birds Past and Speak Then Persephone. Even the full-length debut of the two, Suture was then nominated for the Independent Spirit Awards in 1995 and won the Sitges Festival Internacional de Cinema Fantastic de Catalunya; since they are firmly established in the author scene. This was followed by Deep End, a remake of Max Ophüls ' hush money for love letters and the letters princess from a novel by Myla Goldberg, a Jewish girl who participates in Buchstabierwettbewerben. But he was rather mediocre reviews. Also Uncertainty was discussed not positive, but it was by far the most successful stripe. Only The happiness of the great things meant a breakthrough in the criticism.
