Scott McGrory

Scott McGrory ( born December 22, 1969 in Walwa, Victoria ) is an Australian former racing cyclist.

As a 18- year-old Scott McGrory won bronze at the 1988 Olympics in the four-man team pursuit. In 1994 he moved to the professionals. At the 2000 Olympics in his home country he won jointly with Brett Aitken gold medal in the two - team driving.

In Europe, McGrory was mainly known as a rider in Six Days, of which he won 14. His partner was the standard Belgians Australian origin Matthew Gilmore, with the common, he started 29 times and won ten times.

2004 saw McGrory back from active cycling. Since then he has, inter alia, worked as a cycling commentator for the Australian television. Since 2008 he works as a coach at the Victorian Institute of Sport. Under the name OzCycling.com he also produces video posts about the big race for the Internet.
