Scott Model 3S

The Scott Model 3S of 1934 was a motorcycle by the English manufacturer Scott Motorcycle Company, which used a three-cylinder two -stroke engine as a drive for the first time.

The motorcycle was presented to the press in 1934, but until 1936 delivered in a few copies. From this model, nine motorcycles have been built; five copies should still exist, including one in running order.

Innovative and new was the Bill Cull constructed, longitudinally-mounted water-cooled three-cylinder two -stroke engine with baffled pistons and oil pump. Since each cylinder had a separate crankcase, served three oil pumps the engine with lubricant to the bearings and cylinder walls. A sold to the Auto Union engine is said to have contributed to the development of the local three-cylinder two-stroke.

The suspension consisted of a conventional double-tube frame that was cushioned by damaligem stand, rear unsprung and scratch by Webb - trapezoidal fork.
