Scott Sunderland (track cyclist)

Scott Sunderland ( born March 16, 1988 in Busselton ) is an Australian racing cyclist.

Scott Sunderland is a specialist for short-term events on the track. In 2003 he was Australian youth national time trial champion, second in the sprint and in the scratch. In the following years he won numerous podium finishes in the junior sector, nationally and internationally. In 2006 he became Junior World Champion in the 1000 -meter time trial in Ghent and vice-world champion in the sprint. Since then Sunderland launched for the elite class.

2008 Scott Sunderland won with Daniel Ellis and Jason Niblett the team sprint at the Track Cycling World Cup 2008/2009 in Melbourne and the 1000 -meter time trial. In 2010 he was Australian champion in keirin. In the same year he won the gold medal in the time trial and team sprint and a silver medal in the sprint at the Commonwealth Games.
