Scott Travis

Scott Travis ( born September 6, 1961 in Norfolk, Virginia) is the drummer for the British heavy metal band Judas Priest.

As a young drummer, he went in the early 1980s to California, where he played in various local bands such as Hawk, later he played in bands like Racer X with Paul Gilbert and co-founded with John Corabi, John Alderete and Bruce Bouillet the band Saints and Sinners. The band got a record deal, to the recording of their debut album Travis but already took no further part because he replaced Dave Holland as the drummer of Judas Priest. After his departure to Saints and Sinners renamed in The Scream.

His debut record with Judas Priest gave Travis on the album Painkiller. Also during his time with Judas Priest he was the drummer for the albums by Racer X, according to Rob Halford's exit at Judas Priest he also played with his new band Fight two more albums in.

Characteristic of his style is its fast double bass technique, in which he achieved enormous speeds. In addition, he was the first American drummer of Judas Priest.
