Scott Wootton

Scott James Wootton (* 12 September 1991 in Birkenhead ) is an English footballer who is since 2013 at Leeds United.

Career

Manchester United (2010-2013)

Originally from the youth academy of Manchester United Scott Wootton joined September 30, 2010 on loan to the English third division side Tranmere Rovers and made his debut on October 2, 2010 in the Football League One 2010/11. At the beginning of the 2011/12 season he signed a contract of loan at second division Peterborough United Wootton denied eleven second league games before the valid until the end of the season contract was terminated early on 23 January 2012. Just a week later, he moved up to the end of the season to Nottingham Forest. After the end of the lending agreement, he returned in the summer of 2012 to Manchester.

Leeds United ( since 2013)

On August 20, 2013 Wootton moved to Leeds United, where he signed a three-year contract until 30 June 2016.
