Scottish Football League Second Division
Scottish League One since the 2013/14 season, the name for the third highest football league in Scotland and the second highest in the Scottish Football League. Up to and including the 2012/13 season the name of the Scottish Football League Second Division was. Play 10 teams in the league.
The teams will play four games against each other. For victories are three points for a draw a counter. In case of equal decides on the table space, the goal difference and then the number of goals scored.
Before the season 2005/ 06, the two top-ranked teams were allowed to ascend to the First Division and the two last-place will be relegated to the Third Division. Since 2005 /06 the rule that only the first table automatically ascends and descends the table last applies. The teams ranked two to four play with the second-bottom of the First Division in play-offs for promotion or relegation.
