Scotts Peak in the Lake Pedder

The Scotts Peak is a mountain in the southwest of the Australian state of Tasmania. It is located in the South West National Park north of the Frankland Range.

Before the construction of the Gordon River system, he stood on the shore of Lake Pedder original, a small glacial lake. After flooding of the reservoir present he is now an island in the lake. One of the dams of the reservoir, the Scotts Peak Dam is named after him, as well as the leading there, unpaved road.
