Scout Ball is a derived from the Scout Movement ballgame.

Game History

As with most laymen sports, there is also the Scout Balls No single set of rules, but only one basic thing in common: Each player has a piece of cloth, often the scarf to wear in the waistband of his pants on the seat so that it can be easily pulled out from other players.

When Scout ball, two teams compete against each other. The size of teams can vary greatly, from about 5 to about 20 players per team. With more players, the game is but mostly too confusing. At both ends of the pitch, there is a kind of gateway. The aim is to get the ball into or at the gate, where throwing is not often allowed. The winner is whoever scores the most points at the end.

To distinguish the game from other similar sports and to make it more skill -oriented, each player wears the aforementioned cloth. If a player from the other team manages the ball carrier to snatch the cloth, it must have a penalty period (about two minutes) on the sidelines to sit out, and the team receives from the place of cloth loss on a free throw. In the event that the cloth is pulled out before the reception of the ball, there are some tribes the rule that the so player fouled his next action may also perform without the cloth, so to speak, as a punishment for opponents, who stole him his cloth unlawfully. In other game types, the ball must be fitted immediately in this case.
