Scoville Jenkins

Scoville Jenkins ( born September 23, 1986 in Atlanta ) is an American tennis player.

On 16 August 2004, Jenkins reached the first African American with just 17 years the singles title of the USTA Hard Court Games for juniors.

In 2005, Jenkins took part in the U.S. Open and won the match against the Swiss George Bastl. In the second match he lost in a thrilling encounter the Spaniard Rafael Nadal. In 2006, Jenkins failed to qualify for Wimbledon only just, as he lost to Joshua Goodall in a match with three tie- breaks. At the U.S. Open 2007 Jenkins had right in the first round against world number one and defending champion Roger Federer play against whom he had no chance with 3:6, 2:6, 4:6.
